Templates for More Engineering Efficiency

Unlock consistency and efficiency in drivetrain design with fully customizable calculation templates.

The latest release of the SystemManager introduces a major enhancement for engineering teams aiming to standardize design workflows and accelerate early-stage calculation processes: fully configurable templates for all single calculation modules of TBK accessible within the system environment.

Templates can now be customized for all module types accessible from within the SystemManager, including:

  • Cylindrical gear pairs (spur and helical)
  • Planetary stages
  • Straight and helical bevel gears
  • Spiral bevel gears
  • Worm gear drives
  • Shaft-hub connections (interference fits, keyway connections, splined shaft connections)

This makes it possible to preconfigure frequently used values for materials, safety factors, basic rack tool profiles, tolerances, and many other parameters according to company standards or project requirements. Once defined, these templates ensure that repetitive settings no longer need to be applied manually.

The result is a significant reduction in setup time, particularly useful when starting new projects or working with gearboxes containing numerous gear stages. Custom templates help streamline workflows, improve consistency across designs, and increase overall engineering efficiency.
