TBK software has been a recognized calculation tool on the market for more than 30 years and is successfully used worldwide by engineers and designers across a wide range of industries. Its applications extend from precision engineering to heavy machinery construction, and from low-speed drives to extremely high-speed turbomachinery operating at rotational speeds of 500,000 rpm and above.

One of its main areas of application is gearbox design. In this field, the software is used, for example, in the steel and cement industries, in mining operations, as well as in construction equipment, railway systems, shipbuilding, wind turbines, hydro turbines, and even in Formula 1 engine and helicopter test benches.

Calculation Modules

TBK includes modules for a wide range of machine elements, such as shafts and bearings, parallel key and interference fits, involute splines (DIN 5480, ISO, ANSI, etc.), splined shaft and serrated shaft connections, bolts and pins, clamping connections, bolted joints, timing belts, springs, cylindrical gears, planetary gear trains, bevel gears, and many more.

The calculation core has been extensively tested and has proven itself in practical applications for many years. Its reliability and accuracy have been thoroughly validated in real-world engineering environments.

Intelligent 3D CAD Plugins

To effectively integrate calculation and design, powerful 3D CAD integration modules are available for various CAD systems. In addition to 2D DXF tooth profile output, these plugins enable seamless interaction between engineering and CAD modeling.

System Calculation

With the SystemManager, TBK can be expanded to perform complete system-level calculations. This enables the fast and straightforward modeling of entire assemblies of machine elements. Applications range from simple arrangements to highly complex systems, such as multi-stage gearboxes with or without power splitting, shifting transmissions, and various types of planetary gear systems.
