New ANSI/AGMA gear rating standard now available in TBK.
The TBK software by GWJ Technology now supports the latest edition of involute spur and helical gear teeth rating standard ANSI/AGMA 2101-E25. The new load capacity calculation method is available in the TBK modules “Cylindrical Gear Pair” and “Planetary Gear Train”, running in parallel with the previous ANSI/AGMA 2101-D04 edition.
In addition, users can continue to work with established calculation methods according to DIN 3990 Method B, ISO 6336 Method B, and VDI 2736, enabling direct comparison between different standards within the same engineering environment. Furthermore, ISO 1328 has been updated.
The new ANSI/AGMA 2101-E25 and ISO 1328 implementation ensures up-to-date, standards-compliant gear strength calculations in daily engineering practice.
