The new version of the SystemManager system extension for GWJ’s calculation solution TBK is now available.
The latest update introduces several new features designed to make working with gear systems more convenient, intuitive, and efficient:
- Dark mode:
For more comfortable viewing, different display styles and font sizes can now be selected directly under “Extras → Settings”. - Background grid in 2D views:
The optional grid makes it easier to estimate dimensions and visually align load elements and bearings. - Global markers for shafts:
Global markers can now be defined in the “Shafts” node of the navigation tree. This provides better orientation across all shafts in the system and supports, for example, the alignment of bearings across multiple shafts. - Deflection lines relative to components:
Shaft deflection lines can now be displayed relative to another component in the diagram. This makes it easier to assess the remaining clearance between components, as the influence of thermal expansion is eliminated. - Additional reference lines in diagrams:
Horizontal and vertical lines can now be added directly to diagrams, making it easy to visualize limit values or other design specifications. - New options for 3D graphics:
The coordinate system, 3D housing, and rolling bearings can now be selectively shown or hidden via the new “Graphics Options” menu.
The new version is now available to maintenance customers in the Download Center.
