For some years now, GWJ Technology is part of the teaching team for the course "Computer-Aided Engineering and Optimisation" which takes place every year at the Institute for Engineering Design of TU Braunschweig.

The students have to design and optimize the gearbox of a RC model car by using our web-based calculation software eAssistant. The gear pairs are manufactured by the rapid-prototyping-process at the laboratory of the Institute. At the final get together, the results were presented and the students got the chance to thoroughly test out exactly what their model cars can do on the race track.

The next course will be offered in the winter term and we are pleased that we are able to continue supporting this course again.
